DIY: Turn a Photo into Pop Art
If you're like me, you have a ton of photos that you love, but you have no idea what to do with them all. For my first post, I'm going to take a photo and turn it into modern-pop art! I absolutely LOVE this photo of my daughter, but the background was not exactly frame worthy. So, here are some easy steps to create an awesome piece of artwork! Supplies: You will need a canvas . I'm using an 8x10in standard canvas. You can use any size, it doesn't even need to be a canvas. You could also use a piece of tile, a wood block, coasters, etc.. the possibilities are endless for this project. Paint. You can choose any color you like. I am using an all purpose acrylic craft paint. You will also need a pair of scissors , a paintbrush (you could use a sponge, or roller, whatever is handy). Mod Podge .
